Due to Canon's random below standard low pass dichroic filter coatings Dust-Aid is now providing Canon Cleaner tapes. The Canon Cleaner tapes are applied to the base of Dust-Aid's current low tack foam tapes so you can clean the sensor filter as usual. The Canon Cleaner adhesion level to steel is about 1/4th that of Dust-Aid's low tack foam tape. These tapes will greatly reduce the chance of removing Canon's random weak coatings.
If you have already used Dust-Aid foam tapes on your Canon and are the proud owner of a standard coated sensor filter then you can continue to use Dust-Aid without the Canon Cleaner. The Canon Cleaner tapes are for Canon camera models 5D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 300D and 350D. Below are the instructions on how to apply the Canon Cleaner to your Dust-Aid foam tapes.
